PowerShield: more protection, more peace of mind

PowerShield is more flexible
PowerShield is fully rated as both a surge arrestor and a surge suppressor. Therefore it can be fitted both on the live side and the load side of your electrical supply, providing the most robust and precise protection against all types of transient activity. Furthermore, PowerShield has been designed to complement your UPS system.

PowerShield is more powerful
Composed of cutting-edge solid state electronics, PowerShield is maintenance free and carries a full 15-year warranty. It operates within the shortest period of time around: less than a nanosecond (or one-billionth of a second – the time it takes electricity to travel 30cm).

PowerShield is more dependable
Fully tested and approved by a leading independent testing organisation, Underwriters Laboratories, to its stringent standard for surge arrestors/suppressors.

PowerShield also has the following approval ratings:

  • UL 1449 second edition – listed as both surge arrestor and surge suppressor
  • ANSI/IEEE standards C62.41 and 62.11 – 1993
